Margherita will bring to China her programme “Fantasies”, released by Hänssler Classic in November 2024.

She will play Homage à Butterfly Lovers, composed by the italian composer Paolo Catenaccio, and dedicated to her. The piece resembles the themes of the Butterfly Lovers Concerto, telling the story of the famous Chinese legend.

Join her at the beginning of April on the 4-6-8.4 in Shanghai and Jianying.

We are delighted to announce The Rebecca Clarke Project, featuring a new album set to be released in October 2025 by Brilliant Classics.

Rebecca Clarke, a British-born composer, lived between the 19th and 20th centuries. She was a renowned violist, a passionate advocate for chamber music, and an accomplished composer. The legendary pianist Arthur Rubinstein once referred to her as the “glorious Rebecca Clarke,” and during her lifetime, she enjoyed significant recognition. However, after World War II, her music was considered too tonal and fell into relative obscurity.

In the 1970s, with the rise of the feminist movement, there was a renewed interest in her work. Encouraged by her family in her later years, she began cataloging her compositions. Gramophone magazine has recognized her as one of the greatest female composers of all time.

We are honored to pay tribute to her extraordinary legacy with the upcoming album: REBECCA CLARKE.

The selected designs create a seamless dialogue between music and fashion, illustrating how folkloric traditions can be reimagined within a modern, contemporary aesthetic.

A new review of Fantasies appeared on the well-known American Record Guide.


Santi recorded her album on a beautiful grand Bosendorfer, and I must note the pos- itive overall quality of the recording. Whether it comes from a natural space and brilliant microphone placement technique, or from post-production wizardry, the result speaks for itself. A good balance between brightness of detail and the blooming sound through its reverberation is difficult to achieve, yet very rewarding.
In the Mozart, the contrast between the dark minor section and the lively major ending is vivid.
[…] The light- hearted, humorous II comes across very well with stylized rhythm and funny short articulation that the pianist plays extra short, and the finale is a stormy battle that is performed with a lot of fire. Very daring and impressive playing.

Listening to Santi’s Chopin is a revelation. She is not an artist who compromises, not one who sits between chairs. Her musical choices are bold, and she goes all in all the time. The composer’s language seems to be naturally felt in a tremendous performance of the Fantasy.

The Viennese Carnival (Faschingss- chwank) is a true theatrical spectacle for piano, with festivities made out of Schumann’s rarified characters exemplifying the passionate, playful, and grotesque. Santi’s artistic wealth and richness of interpretation are on full display here. It’s a testament to her complete dedication to this bottomless treasure by the most romantic of romantics—Robert Schumann.
